Week  9

This week we have been making magic potions for maths.
For reading we have been making diaramas on the magic faraway tree (which is a book we have been reading.)

Week 8 Term 4

This week it was the year 3 trip we went to the Orakie basin and after that we went to the lagoon and leisure  pools in Panmure.

Molly's group got 1 and a half bags!!!!

Rowan's group got a fridge with vomit in it!!!!!

Yuck!!

When we were at the pool the water was freezing!!!!!

BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but that didn't stop us!

YEAR 3 TRIP


On the 2nd of December the year 3's went on a trip to Orakei basin to help clean up. Before we started  we had morning-tea.Then we started cleaning up.We had lunch at the basin

It was sooooo hot. We were really, really lucky to go to the pool.But the bad part was when we got to the pools it was so cold ,we were shivering till the end.There was a waterslide and lots of people were on it .My friends went on it and said it was sooooooooooooooooo fun .

The water may have been cold,brrrrrr but that didn't stop us from swimming! It was really fun!

week 7

This week we had our cultural picnic. There was heaps of people and food. this week it is our buddy class's assembly.
All the year 3's had there last topic rotation.
This week miss pedersen came back from being sick.
Also there was a lot of sharing of peoples news e.g.emilys ring.

This week we saw the V8 Supertourers NZ. Some of thier names are: Storey, Evans, Van Gisbergen, McLaughlin, Pedersen, Murphy, Baird, Booth, McIntyre and Manuell. The best  cars. The best drivers.BE THERE! Visit www.V8ST.co.nz.

Congratulations to Caroline for getting the citezenship cup! Room 20 also hope Miss Pedersen gets better. Thank you to Miss Vaughan  and Miss Sumpter for taking care of us while Miss Pedersen was sick.

Term 4 Week 4

This week year 3 had their topic rotation.
There was drums, creative dance,mural,scottish dance,pacific art.
We were learning about lots of countries and their foods to their dances!

Fizz, pop, crackle go the sparklers as they get waved in the air
to make visible pictures for a few seconds then disappear

Piiiiing! BANG! Goes a firework as it gets lit and explodes into a variety of colours,
red, pink, blue, yellow and green.
The colours are so bright they're hard not to be seen

BANG Boom Bong! Goes the last firework of all
Then colours start to go in the sky
